利用USC VPN接入校园网访问USC校内资源(PC及Mac)

新生完成PPV之后就可以使用USC VPN接入校园网了。VPN，虚拟专用网络。利用USC VPN可以让你获取到一个USC校内的IP地址，从而访问一些限制校内IP才能访问的资源，比如图书馆和系里的实验室资源。具体能访问什么内容暂时没关心，以后慢慢会知道的。

Win7和Mac我都装了一下，手机一样的，下载一个app叫做Cisco AnyConnect，之后的配置和电脑是一样的，输入接入地址+帐号密码就可以了。

Windows7平台

Win7比较蛋疼，因为那反人类的安全策略。所以如果下面的方法你无法自动下载到Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client，请点击后面的链接到Cisco官网直接下载(传送门)

1、打开USC VPN的接入页面

http://vpn.usc.edu/

2、然后输入USC NetID username 和 password，不是那串数字，那是USC ID。这个一般是你的名字firstname + lastname，自己找去。

至于GROUP怎么选，在家一般选HOME，在外面一般选Wireless就好了，下面有详细的介绍。这个只是影响安全策略和获取的IP地址，没有太大的问题。

Wireless – Use this profile while on the USC Wireless network for an extra layer of security. All traffic is tunneled except for traffic between computers on your
wireless network.

Home – Use this profile to make a secure connection from your home network to the USC network. All traffic is tunneled except for traffic between computers on your
home network.

OffCampusOther – Use this profile when you are at a hotel, airport, conference or other off-campus location to make a secure connection to the USC network. All traffic is tunneled except for traffic between computers on your
hotel/airport/conference/other network.

UniversityHospitals – Use this profile to make a secure connection to the USC network from Keck Hospital of USC and Norris Cancer Hospital. This profile tunnels all traffic except for 63.247.0.0/21, 172.17.11.0/24, 10.129.40.0/21, 10.129.48.0/24, 63.247.9.0/24, 63.247.12.0/22, 63.247.16.0/20, 172.22.4.0/24, and 172.22.2.0/24.

DohenyEyeInstitute- Use this profile to make a secure connection to the USC network from the Doheny Eye Institue. This profile tunnels all traffic except for 12.42.166.0/24 and 12.42.167.0/24.

LAC-USC – Use this profile to make a secure connection to the USC network from the Los Angeles County and USC Hospital. This profile tunnels all traffic except for 163.40.0.0/16.

KUSC – Use this profile to make a secure connection to the USC network from the offices of KUSC 91.5 FM. This profile tunnels all traffic except for 65.106.101.0/25 and 10.10.10.0/24.

USCTrafficOnly – Use this profile to secure data that is going only to the USC network. This profile tunnels traffic that is only destined for 128.125.0.0/16, 68.181.0.0/16 and 50.59.168.0/22

3、进去以后点"Start AnyConnect"，然后就是各种测试，当然一般是通不过的，出啥都点OK就好了。最后会告诉你无法自动下载，让你手工下载Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client，下载安装就可以了。

4、安装Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client，一路NEXT

5、安装完成就可以打开软件了，地址填"vpn.usc.edu"

6、帐号密码依旧填写USC NetID，GROUP随便选

7、VPN连接，连接中，连接成功

8、打开属性看一下，成功获取到USC IP，搞定

查一下IP地址，ISP: University of Southern California

9、退出VPN连接的话，鼠标右键点一下状态栏的图标，然后点"Disconnect"就可以了

Mac OS X平台

1、Mac平台没那么多事，打开USC VPN的接入页面

http://vpn.usc.edu/

2、自动检测，一般也是失败，手工下载Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client

3、下载完成安装Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client，一路NEXT

4、装完打开Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client

5、地址填"vpn.usc.edu"

6、帐号密码依旧填写USC NetID，GROUP随便选

7、连接成功

8、状态栏点Cisco AnyConnect属性，看一下连接状态，成功获取USC IP，搞定

9、停止VPN的话，点一下状态栏上的Cisco AnyConnect图标，然后点"Disconnect"就可以了
